Do you offer one-way rentals?

Right now all rentals are round-trip, returning to our Auckland Airport branch in Mangere. If you need a different drop-off arrangement, call us directly and we'll see what we can do.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

No problem — call or text us your updated arrival time and we'll adjust your shuttle pickup accordingly, at no extra charge.

Do I have to pay for fuel upfront?

No. Return the car with roughly the same fuel level it had at pickup and you won't pay anything extra — we'll walk around the car with you at drop-off to confirm.

Are toll roads included in the price?

No — New Zealand's toll roads, including Auckland's Northern Gateway, are paid directly by the driver, not through us. We'll point out which routes have tolls and how to pay them when you pick up your car.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa and Mastercard, both credit and debit, for the rental balance and the refundable security bond.

Can I extend my rental after pickup?

Yes — call us before your due-back time and we'll extend your booking if the car's available for the extra days, at the same daily rate.

Do you provide child seats or other extras?

Yes — baby capsules, child seats, booster seats, and snow tyre chains are all available to add at booking for a small daily fee each.

Every booking includes unlimited kilometres, our free airport shuttle, and Basic Cover insurance. You can upgrade to Standard or Premium Cover, add a second driver, or add extras like child seats at checkout.

It depends on the cover you choose: Basic Cover has a $5,500 excess, Standard Cover reduces that to $1,500, and Premium Cover drops it to $0 with a $150 bond instead. You can change your cover level any time before pickup.

You need to be at least 25 years old with a full driver's licence held for at least one year. Bring your physical licence — plus an International Driving Permit if it isn't in English — to pickup.

Our fleet ranges from $40 a day for a compact hatchback to $80 a day for a 7-seater, averaging around $60 a day across 19 vehicles. Multi-day bookings bring the daily rate down further — the exact price shows when you pick your dates.

Three Day Trips Worth Renting a Car For

Muriwai Beach is under an hour's drive from our Mangere branch — black sand, a west-coast surf break, and a mainland gannet colony you can walk right up to. Waiheke Island needs a ferry crossing from Half Moon Bay, but a car on the island reaches vineyards like Mudbrick and Cable Bay that the bus tours skip.

For a longer trip, the Bay of Islands is roughly 3.5 to 4 hours north on SH1 — Paihia, Russell, and the Hole in the Rock cruises make it a solid overnight or weekend drive from Auckland.
