VELOCITY ENTERPRISES LIMITED TRADING AS BUBBLE RENTALS

These Terms & Conditions govern your rental agreement with us. Please read them carefully before signing the Rental Agreement. By renting a vehicle from VELOCITY ENTERPRISES LIMITED TRADING AS BUBBLE RENTALS, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

AGREEMENT TO TERMS

This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is between BUBBLE RENTALS ("Company", "we", "us", "our") and the individual or entity renting the vehicle ("Hirer", "you", "your").

• You agree to these Terms & Conditions.
• You agree to comply with New Zealand road laws and regulations.
• Additional terms in your rental contract also apply.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website or upon request.

DRIVER LICENCE

All drivers must hold a current and valid NZ full licence. If the licence is not in English, an official translation or International Driving Permit is required.

VEHICLE CONDITION

Vehicles must be safe and roadworthy at the time of pickup. Report any concerns before accepting the vehicle.

CERTIFICATE OF LOADING

A copy of the rental agreement must remain in the vehicle throughout the hire and shown to enforcement officers on request.

DEFINITIONS

• Hirer: Person or business renting the vehicle.
• Company: Bubble Rentals.
• Vehicle: The rental car, its parts and documentation.
• Rental Period: Agreed time for hire.
• Insurance Cover: Coverage level selected.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

• Drivers over 25 with licence < 1 year: $1000 to $3500 excess depend on insurance policy you choose.
• Drivers aged 21-25: $1000 to $3500 excess depend on insurance policy you choose.
• Drivers under 21: + $10/day. $1000 to $3500 excess depend on insurance policy you choose.
• Drivers over 75 may need a medical certificate.
• Driver licence and credit card requires at pickup time.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• 48 Hours before pickup time: Full refund.
• 24 Hours before pickup time: 50% refund.
• Same-day or no-show: No refund.

PRIVACY POLICY

We collect, use and protect your personal data for services, legal compliance, and recovery of fines/debts. Online payments use secure Verifone 3D security systems.

PAYMENT & SECURITY DEPOSIT

All prices are in NZD. "Bubble Rentals" appears on statements.

• Full payment at booking or pickup.
• Accepts cards (Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay), and cash.

SECURITY BOND

A refundable pre-authorized hold is placed based on insurance selected:

• Basic Cover: $3500 bond, $3500 excess
• Standard Cover: $1000 bond, $1000 excess
• Premium Cover: $150 bond, $0 excess

INSURANCE & LIABILITY

INSURANCE EXCLUSIONS

Insurance void if:

• Driving under influence.
• Reckless/careless driving.
• Driving on unsealed roads or beaches.
• Using wrong fuel, losing keys, or driving outside NZ.

FUEL POLICY

• Full tank provided.
• Return with full tank or $50 + fuel cost applies.

VAPING / PET / CLEANING CHARGES

• Smoking/vaping: $250
• Animals in vehicle: $250
• Excessive dirt: $250

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

Premium Cover includes 24/7 assistance. Others may incur $250 call-out fees for:

• Flat battery, lockout, no fuel, towing.
• Driver negligence-related issues.

INFRINGEMENT OFFENCES

Hirer is liable for all traffic offences and related to NZTA road rules. Admin/legal fees. A $50 admin fee applies for transfers.

BREAKDOWN PROTOCOL

Contact Bubble Rentals immediately. Unapproved repairs are not reimbursed.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Only listed drivers may drive.
• Tickets, tyre damage, refuelling and cleaning charges apply.
• No refund for early return. Late Return = full-day and insurance charge.
• Police report required for all accidents. No report = $1000 fee.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by New Zealand law.

By signing the Rental Agreement, the Hirer acknowledges and agrees to all terms above.
