About During Rental Period

Once you've picked up your Bubble Rentals vehicle, a few simple rules keep your trip smooth and your insurance cover valid. This section covers your responsibilities during the rental period — from driving rules and accident procedures to fuel, tolls, fines, and what is and isn't covered by your insurance option.

All Bubble Rentals bookings are governed by our rental agreement: only approved drivers may operate the vehicle, New Zealand road rules and drink/drug-driving laws must be followed at all times, and any accident, damage, or breakdown must be reported to us immediately. Tolls, parking fines, and traffic infringements incurred during your rental are the renter's responsibility, and vehicles should be returned with a full tank unless otherwise agreed.

Browse the questions below for full details on insurance cover, breakdowns and accidents, fuel policy, extensions, and looking after your rental vehicle.
